David Fischer Some months ago, I received Unavngivet as part of a Danish black metal bundle, but completely forgot about it. What a damn shame as honestly, this is one of the best black metal albums I have heard in the last year! It is not about what Glemsel are doing, it's how they do it: the sound is perfect, sitting right between raw and good production, the songs are brisk and immediate, the music always shifting between blistering tremolo and finely nuanced, atmospheric parts. Absolutely recommended! Favorite track: Efterårsvinde.

zlatanika These guys truly kicked my ass with their masterpiece called “Forfader” (their recent 2022 release), which I urge you to just buy. After “Forfader” has turned your brain into pink foam that will ooze from your eyes and ears, then you may get this 2020 release because the price is right and it’s actually pretty good. But “Forfader” will truly melt your skull in a thrice holyfuck.
